Cairn Design and Build offers a number of solutions to customers looking to shelter and protect their cars from the elements including oak framed car ports and garages.
We can design and build fully or partially open car ports with any size openings to accommodate any length or width of car – we aren't restricted by pre-fabricated panels meaning you dont have to squeeze your car through narrow openings or knock bumpers against walls. In terms of garages, we can provide single, double, triple or quad garages with a range of doors from traditional split timber doors to state of the art remote controlled roller shutters. Garages and car ports are often built with additional storage space to enable items such as bicycles, garden furniture, lawn mowers and the like to be kept under cover along with external log stores. We can also design and build secure storage areas for high value items – there is no limit to what we can manufacture!
We can work in a whole range of materials including green oak frames, air dried oak, hardwood, pressure treated softwood, brick, block, cedar shingles or slate. Our Oak framed car ports and garages are very cost effective as we use modern jointing techniques to keep labour costs to a minimum. In addition to the superstructures, we also offer an in-house groundworks service so foundations, ground slabs and even inspection pits can be provided as part of a turn key project. Our planning service ensures that you dont have to get involved in the paper chase of co-ordinating architects, completing planning application forms or dealing with the planning officer – we deal with all of this for you.
