In terms of quality, we believe that in order to provide a durable and attractive set of stables, materials and workmanship are key. We only use top quality pressure treated structural grade timbers throughout the build and all of the cladding used is pressure treated for durability. Cairn hand builds each and every timber building using qualified joiners – we do not mass produce panels and hope they fit on site. Every stable block is hand finished and inspected prior to handing over to our customers. We are so confident in the quality of our stables and equestrian buildings, we offer a unique Cairn 2 year warranty for workmanship and materials.

The Cairn Basic range of shelters provides the most cost effective solution for owners looking to protect their horses from the elements. The simple form of construction helps to keep costs down without compromising on the underlying quality of materials and build. The shelters can be constructed to any size and format including full metal skid mobile versions up to 12'x24'. Options such as kickboards, rooflights and tack rooms are all available.

The Cairn Standard Range builds upon the quality of the Basic Range and introduces an apex roof and kickboards as standard. The roof is constructed from heavy duty purlins and finished with durable Onduline roof sheets and trimmed with barge boards to the gables. Again, any size and format is available from single to double with hay barns and tack rooms attached. We also offer timber skids and metal skids where the requirement for a mobile or temporary structure is required.

The Cairn Ultimate Range of field shelters sets out to provide, as the name suggests, the ultimate form of shelter for your horse or pony. Each shelter is constructed using heavy weight materials to provide a high quality, aesthetically pleasing building design and constructed to last for years. The kickboards utilise the same heavy external cladding material to ensure strength and durability.
